Dr. Melinda Fierros

Dr. Melinda Fierros is a board certified Child, Adolescent, and Adult Psychiatrist.  She is passionate about offering thorough psychiatric services including medication management and therapy. She distinguishes her practice in that she does not limit her patient care to a strict focus on medications, but rather seeks to understand her patients through thorough biopsychosocial assessment and conservative prescribing practices. She views each individual as a whole person and carefully considers a wide array of evidence-based treatment options.

Dr. Fierros served in the Air Force for 11 years, providing psychiatric services to her brothers and sisters in uniform and their families. She earned multiple awards throughout her education, training, and service, to include the Edward Randall Medal for Academic Excellence, the Wright State University Academy of Medicine Outstanding Resident Award, the Distinguished Laughlin Fellow Merit Award, and the Meritorious Service Award.
